SITE PLANNING AND URBAN DESIGN

George Claflen studied at MIT with America’s leading teacher of site planning, the late Kevin Lynch. He later worked for two internationally known urban designers, John R. Myer at Arrowstreet, and Denise Scott Brown at Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates. Based upon this experience he has maintained a strong focus in urban and site design work, recently participating in a highly specialized site selection process for a major public facility for the Capital Program Office of the City of Philadelphia.
