The facility, located in the same building as the agencies, is the result of a government-wide initiative in employee well-being. It integrates both a comprehensive fitness center and a health unit into a single 5,300 square foot unit. The 4,000 square foot fitness center has a column-free group exercise room, and a seperate fully outfitted equipment room, which together support diverse options for monitored exercise. Adjoining it, the health unit provides an extensive program of preventive health care and maintenance and is designed according to U.S. Public Health Service standards.
